SeeMo’
SeeMo’ is the Safe Streets Petaluma Mascot. Here’s his story.
Safe Streets Petaluma co-founder Bruce Hagen started by flying a clownfish flag behind his bike, which he rides everywhere in Petaluma. Children cry out, “it’s Nemo!” (from the movie “Finding Nemo.” ) Bruce tells them (and their grown-ups) that it’s actually “SeeMo’”, Nemo’s Petaluma cousin.
SeeMo’ looks much like those orange and white traffic cones at construction sites; they are hard to miss seeing. So is SeeMo’, especially when he lights up flashing at night. He gets the attention of drivers, making it safer for everyone. Kids want to know more about SeeMo’, and grown-ups learn about Safe Streets Petaluma.
